Dan Friess

Dan is an Associate Professor and Dean's Chair in the Department of Geography, National University of Singapore. Dan is also a founding member of the IUCN Mangrove Specialist Group. His research focuses on the ecosystem services of mangrove forests, and how they are affected by deforestation, sea-level rise, and habitat restoration. Dan's research group conducts research throughout Southeast Asia, India, Bangladesh, Madagascar and New Caledonia. For more info please visit www.themangrovelab.com
